On Friday 12th April Stand Up For Labour came to Rotherham for a joint fundraiser between Sheffield Central, Rotherham & Wentworth & Dearne CLPs. It was a great night with lot of laughter! Roise Winterton (Labour’s Chief Whip) opened the night and then past the microphone over to the comedians (Rob Mulholland, Matt Hollins, Stephen Carlin & Joe Wells). We raised around £450 for Sheffield Central CLP and on behalf of the CLP would like to thank members who attended and to Crispin Flintoff (Stand Up for Labour organiser)

Six members of Sheffield Central CLP (Jim Lafferty, Susan Hodkin, Cllr Ben Curran, Cllr Nikki Bond, Richard Bulmer & Jim Smith) are running the Sheffield Half Marathon for two local charities. To sponsor them go to their Just Giving page: Click Here
They are running the Half Marathon for Sheffield Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Service and Ben’s Centre as they are two charities who two of the team members are involved in supporting. They both do vital work to support some of the most vulnerable people in Sheffield.
The Sheffield Central team are hoping to raise awareness about these charities as well as raising money.
